You’ll gain confidence, correct your mistakes, and quickly feel comfortable expressing yourself in Dutch.
Fewer spectators. More practice. More progress.
A certificate that recognizes your progress
At the end of your training, the Nederlandse Academie will issue you a certificate attesting to the level you have achieved.
This is concrete proof of your progress that you can add to your resume and highlight to an employer. In Brussels, speaking Dutch can really open doors.
You're making progress. And you can prove it.

Laura’s tips
If you are a beginner…
Opt for a full two-week module, half day or full day.
It is the best format for building solid foundations and making efficient progress right from the start.
If your schedule allows, add afternoon lessons as well, depending on your availability and on the time you can devote to homework. That will help you consolidate what you have learnt and progress faster.

FAQ
An intensive Dutch training programme is an accelerated learning programme designed to progress rapidly thanks to a sustained pace, strong exposure to the language and reinforced pedagogical support. Unlike standard lessons, intensive training allows you to achieve visible results in a few weeks, or even in a few days.
Yes, provided you use an adapted methodology. Nederlandse Academie applies the Forcing method, an immersive and verbal approach that stimulates natural learning and accelerates the acquisition of linguistic automatisms. This is the method that enables rapid and lasting progress.
The Forcing method is based on:
- maximum linguistic immersion
- intensive oral practice
- constant interaction with the teacher
- immediate correction of errors
The goal is to force the use of Dutch from the start, in order to quickly overcome obstacles related to grammar or fear of speaking.
Intensive training is for:
- active adults wishing to advance professionally
- students preparing for an academic pathway in Belgium
- people wishing to sustainably integrate into Brussels or surrounding areas
- anyone needing rapid results, regardless of their level
No minimum level is required. Intensive training is accessible from beginner level (A1) to advanced level (C1). An online level test allows for homogeneous groups to be formed or a personalized program to be proposed.
The level test allows:
- to precisely evaluate your current skills
- to avoid training that is too easy or too difficult
- to adapt the pace, content and intensity
It is a key element to guarantee rapid and efficient progress.
Intensive courses generally take place during the day, with several hours of Dutch per day. This sustained pace allows for total immersion and promotes rapid anchoring of knowledge.
Courses are taught by native speakers, experienced and specially trained in the Forcing method. They support learners in an active, dynamic and personalized manner.
Yes, mainly in small groups, in order to promote:

Yes. All intensive training is available:
- in-person in Brussels
- at a distance, via interactive virtual classrooms
In all cases, you benefit from access to Nedaca@home, the digital platform available 24/7.
The Nedaca@home platform allows:
- to follow your courses and educational materials online
- to view your results and progress
- to train independently via interactive exercises
- to access a syllabus adapted to your level
It perfectly complements in-person or distance learning.
Learners generally notice:
- rapid improvement in listening comprehension
- more fluent speaking
- increased confidence
- increased ability to use Dutch in real situations
Progress is often visible from the first days.
After intensive training, it is possible to:
- continue with evening classes
- complement with private lessons
- participate in verbal conversation tables
- continue learning via the digital platform
The goal is to consolidate acquired knowledge and maintain progress.
