WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
Our evening courses are open to all levels and are suitable for complete beginners as well as for people who are already more experienced in Dutch. Your orientation and integration into a group that best suits your level will be determined after a quick written and oral test before the course starts.
A UNIQUE METHODOLOGY
Using our famous forcing methodology, adapted to shorter evening sessions, we aim to push you to the maximum of your abilities with the main objective of significantly improving your mastery of Dutch. All that in just a few weeks.
ACCESSIBLE ALL YEAR ROUND
Our school also offers students the opportunity to follow most of the courses offered at our school via distance learning.
Via our online platform Nedaca@Home and your webcam you can turn your living room or office into a virtual classroom and benefit from many other course resources in digital form.
What does an evening course look like?
Our evening classes take place during two evenings per week from 7pm to 8:30pm, either on Mondays and Wednesdays, or on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Phase 1 of the course: Our unique methodology, Forcing 2.0
During this first phase of the course, which lasts 1.5 hours, you will make progress in both reading comprehension and oral expression. At the same time, you will quickly expand your vocabulary.
In order to help you develop your vocabulary more easily and to help you memorise the recurring structures of Dutch grammar, our teachers offer an approach to these subjects that is as entertaining as possible in the form of various stimulating and varied exercises.
Course phase 2: Practical and verbal approach
In this second phase of our evening course, we approach the learning of the language with a more practical and verbal approach. You will be encouraged to improve your listening comprehension and to expand your vocabulary as much as possible. Through this learning and your new mastery of grammatical structures, you will have sufficient knowledge of the language to be able to follow and take part in any conversation in Dutch.
By organising role plays and debates, our teachers can also personalise this phase of the course by using topics or situations from your daily or professional life. This is an excellent way to practice your Dutch without having to think too much about the structures. You will soon be able to express yourself more fluently and naturally.
A certificate, a real added value
At the end of your intensive Dutch course, you will receive a certificate from our language school. This document attests to your knowledge and skills and will be of great added value when looking for a job or internship in Belgium.

In order to consolidate the new skills acquired in Dutch, we also advise students who have just completed a course to enrol in our Dutch workshops as soon as possible. You will have the opportunity to interact with other students in Dutch on a regular basis, to participate in various discussions, heated debates and games specifically moderated by a teacher from the Nederlandse Academie.

Our recommendation
We recommend that beginners wishing to learn a new language and those with limited experience in learning a new language should initially opt for a full 10-week module.

The audit report is available on request. As a company and private individual, the Brussels Region, the Walloon Region and the Vdab provide financial aid and subsidies. Attending our Dutch language courses is an optimal preparation for the Selor exam. At the Nederlandse Academie you will practice specifically for the bilingualism test. With our intensive courses, you will make rapid progress in your Dutch language skills and you will have every chance of being well-prepared for the big day and passing the Selor Dutch test.
