Art 1 Application of the General Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions of sale apply, without restriction or reservation, to all services offered by Professional Education/Nederlandse Academie. These terms and conditions of service are brought to the attention of the client. Consequently, by requesting the services of Professional Education/Nederlandse Academie, the client fully accepts these general terms and conditions. These general terms and conditions of sale are therefore applicable from the moment the deposit is paid or the registration form is signed.
Art 2 Course subscription
All course subscriptions are valid for 6 calendar months starting from the date of the first lesson. After this period, the lessons will be lost.
Art 3 Rates and payment
Services are paid in full. Each course package must be settled before the first lesson.
Art 4 Cancellation conditions
Any cancellation of a private or company lesson must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If not, the lesson will be lost.
In the case of fixed day group courses, the lesson that is not followed will be lost and cannot be reclaimed.
No cancellations are possible once the deposit has been paid or the registration form has been signed for approval. It is not possible to change from one course to another after the start of these courses.
Art 5 Liability of the provider
The Nederlandse Academie reserves the right to postpone a group course if the minimum number of students (3 students) is not reached.
The Nederlandse Academie cannot guarantee that the same teacher will be retained for the entire duration of the course.
Following the Covid 19 crisis, all our courses have been adapted to the possibility of distance learning via video conferencing.
We therefore reserve the right to immediately switch from one formula to another in the event of new containment periods.
The starting level assigned is indicative and can be adapted at any time if the teacher considers it necessary.
For the sake of pedagogical efficiency, the A0 levels (absolute beginner level) and the A1 levels (false beginner level) are systematically and deliberately merged. This strategy is part of the Forcing method of the Nederlandse Academie.
Out of respect for the students who have chosen to give their all to their learning, we ask you to strictly comply with the following two rules:
1° The thorough study of the coursework (preparations).
2° Strict adherence to the course timetable.
The school therefore reserves the right to exclude for the day of the course:
1° Students who have not prepared their lessons, except in case of force majeure.
2° Pupils who arrive after the beginning of the course, except in case of force majeure.
The Nederlandse Academie shall not be held responsible or liable for any delay or non-performance. Another course will be arranged to provide the course.
The Nederlandse Academie shall under no circumstances be liable to pay damages of any kind for material or immaterial loss.
Art 6 Data protection
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27/4/2016 (hereinafter referred to as the "European Data Protection Regulation"), the client is reminded that the personal data requested from him or her is intended exclusively for internal use by the Nederlandse Academie. The client has the right to access, modify and rectify this data and to object to any information concerning him or her.
Art 7 Competent court
In the event of a dispute, the Brussels court shall have jurisdiction.
